<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for easily producing a photochromic lens having a photochromic layer with reduced influences of liquid retention although the layer is thick. <P>SOLUTION: A method for producing a photochromic lens including a photochromic layer containing a photochromic dye on a lens substrate is disclosed. The method comprises repeating a film forming step a plurality of times, the film forming step of applying a photochromic liquid containing a photochromic dye and a curable component on the surface of a lens substrate by spin coating to form a coating film and curing the coating film to form a cured film. Thus, a photochromic layer comprising accumulated layers of the cured film containing the photochromic dye is formed to a total thickness of 30 μm or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
