PURPOSE: A portable terminal and augmented reality information displaying method thereof are provided to promote the convenience of a user by controlling sizes of AR(Augmented Reality) icons. CONSTITUTION: A control unit measures a location and a position of a terminal in case AR methods are established(S102, S103). The control unit transmits a message which requests ROI(Region Of Interest) information for a target object within a real image(S104). The control unit receives interest point information from a server(S105). The control unit is piled up the received interest point information on the real image(S106).
