A system provided with a windscreen wiper device (1) comprising an elastic, elongated carrier element, as well as an elongated wiper blade (2) of a flexible material, which wiper blade includes at least one longitudinal groove (3), in which groove a longitudinal strip (4) of the carrier element is disposed, wherein ends (5) of said wiper blade and/or of said longitudinal strip are interconnected by a respective connecting piece (6), said carrier element biasing the wiper blade in a curved position, which windscreen wiper device comprises a connecting device (7) for pivotally connecting an oscillating wiper arm thereto; a holder (9) for holding said windscreen wiper device; with the special feature that the holder comprises a stiff tightening profile engaging the windscreen wiper device at engaging locations (10,11) on the connecting device for tightening said windscreen wiper device in a less curved position. |
