<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently improve earthquake resistance in a turbine generator frame which is a pedestal for supporting a turbine and a generator installed on a power generation facility. <P>SOLUTION: In the turbine generator frame, when improving the earthquake resistance of a turbine generator frame, bases of columns of only the lower section of the turbine generator frame are expanded at least in one direction of the axial direction of the turbine generator or the direction orthogonal thereto, or the spacing of the bases of the columns is expanded at least in one direction of the axial direction of the turbine generator or the direction orthogonal thereto to the outer side of the turbine generator frame, and any increase of the bending moment generated by the increase in the self weight of the bases of the columns is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
