A device to prevent the teeth being clenched too tightly 'comprises a moulded member which is received between the jaws to separate the upper and lower teeth and a rigid tube of oval cross-section extending through said member from inside to outside the mouth. The moulded member 10 of soft vulcanised rubber is provided with a U- shaped web 14 to be received between the upper and lower teeth and inner and outer flanges 20, 22, 24, 26 which bear against the inside and outside of the teeth and gums respectively. The tube 12 is made of non-corrodible metal or other suitable rigid material and is provided with holes 34, 36 near its inner end. |
