Electrically conductive plastic material consisting of a plastic containing a three-dimensionally cross-linked electrically-conductive solid of liquid-crystal structure (mesophase). The electrically-conductive plastic material is produced by mixing a liquid-crystal structure (mesophase) with a plastic in a molten state and subjecting the molten mixture to mechanical stresses or heat treatment and to shaping.
