The picker system has individual products (26) and a transfer region for transferring the individual products from the product belt (106) into the container (20) on the container-transport device. A controlling and drive device is provided for moving the product belt and the container-transport device relative to each other. A start module (11) and an end module (13) of each guide rail (2a,2b) are so displaceable that it is brought into flush connection to the remainder of the other guide rail. An independent claim is also included for a method for filling containers.
