<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the positioning accuracy and suppress a decrease in image quality, in a liquid ejection head having a support substrate for supporting a liquid ejection substrate and a housing for supporting the support substrate, each of which has a positioning portion for achieving positioning with respect to an attaching portion in a predetermined direction. <P>SOLUTION: The support substrate 12 has first positioning portions 50a and 50b being in contact with the attaching portion 102, to which the liquid ejection head 1 is attached, to determine the position of the liquid ejection head 1 with respect to the attaching portion 102 in the predetermined direction. The housing 21 has the second positioning portion 50c being in contact with the attaching portion 102 to determine the position of the liquid ejection head 1 with respect to the attaching portion 102 in the predetermined direction. A surface perpendicular to the ejection port surface of the liquid ejection substrate 11 and extending along the predetermined direction, having the second positioning portion 50c, is disposed between two surfaces perpendicular to the ejection port surface and extending along the predetermined direction, each having one of the first positioning portions 50a and 50b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
