<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition excellent in image preservability. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition includes, at least, a coloring material containing a yellow dye represented by formula (1), a glycol ether having an HLB value of 5.4 to 8.0 as calculated by Devis method, and a solvent. In the formula (1), R<SB POS="POST">4</SB>are each independently a monovalent group; R<SB POS="POST">5</SB>are each independently -OR<SB POS="POST">6</SB>or -NHR<SB POS="POST">7</SB>, and R<SB POS="POST">6</SB>and R<SB POS="POST">7</SB>are each independently a hydrogen atom or a monovalent group, X<SB POS="POST">3</SB>is a divalent linking group; n<SB POS="POST">3</SB>is 0 or 1; Ar<SB POS="POST">3</SB>are each independently a divalent heterocyclic group containing a sulfur atom; and Ar<SB POS="POST">4</SB>are each independently an alkyl group, an aryl group, or a monovalent triazine ring group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
