<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that vehicles such as automobiles, though provided with in-vehicle facilities so that a driver can carry out driving operation comfortably and safely, causes a driver's safe driving to be hindered by his or her operation of the in-vehicle facilities in search for the acquisition of the optimum setting thereof during his or her drive because these in-vehicle facilities are respectively to be set differently in optimum setting with different heights or body forms of different drivers. <P>SOLUTION: With respect to a driver head position detection method which detects the position of the head of a driver by moving a reference point so that the reference point is made to overlap two or more points out of a plurality of points provided within the interior of a vehicle, the driver head position detection method utilizes an indicator having a display performing the indication of at least one of the data out of a navigation or air-conditioner, audio, state of a vehicle and the like, while the alteration of setting of the in-vehicle facilities is carried out based on the position of the head of the driver detected by the indicator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
