<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce imaging time and cost for sensors in cephalometric radiography. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes a front cephalometric radiography mode for imaging the front face of an object O by cephalometric radiography, and a side cephalometric radiography mode for imaging the side surface of the object O by cephalometric radiography. A cephalometric X-ray detection part 5 includes a rectangular flat sensor 50, and a flat sensor rotation part to rotate the flat sensor 50. In the front cephalometric radiography mode, the flat sensor 50 is rotated so that the longer side 52 of the flat sensor 50 is along a vertical direction.
