<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking lot guidance system that detects a vacant space in a parking lot and guides a vehicle to it. <P>SOLUTION: A parking management device (9) includes: GPS false signal generation means (13) for generating a signal similar to a transmission radio wave of GPS information from an artificial satellite (4) used in a global positioning system (6) based upon positions of GPS transmission antennas (12A-12D), and transmitting the signal from the GPS transmission antennas (12A-12D); parking management device-side communication means (16) for receiving vehicle position information; and guidance arithmetic means (17) for computing guidance information for guiding the vehicle to an available parking area from the received vehicle position information. The vehicle (7) includes a GPS unit (19) which detects vehicle position by positioning based upon the GPS information, vehicle-side communication means (20) for transmitting the vehicle position information to the parking management device (9) and receiving the guidance information for guiding the vehicle to the available parking area, and information presentation means (22) for presenting the received guidance information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
