<p>A surgical milling cutter bracket comprises a retaining base (1) having a through hole. The upper part of the retaining base (1) is provided with a finger guide (4) having an L-shaped support frame on the top of the finger guide. A downward protrusion (9) is provided at the end of the short side (8) of the L-shaped support frame. The lowest point of the protrusion (9) is lower than the lowest point of the cylindrical head (10) of the milling cutter during normal operation of the milling cutter. A bolt (3) having a through hole at the center is fixed within the cavity of the finger guide (4). A depressor (7) is provided on the upper part of the retaining base (1). The bolt (3) passes through a hole on the depressor (7) and is connected to a nut (6). The protrusion (9) is able to prevent an object from contacting the cylindrical head (10), thus avoiding cutting the object unevenly. Additionally, by driving the L-shaped support frame to rotate via the finger guide (4), the movement direction of the milling cutter can be changed, facilitating the operation.</p>
