<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device which is capable of setting an operation to be invalid or valid without any particular setting change operation or the like performed by a user. <P>SOLUTION: An image display device (e.g., projector) 100 controllable by an external information processing apparatus 200 includes: an operation section (e.g., operation panel) 111 for receiving an operation to the image display device 100; a communication section (communication I/F section) 114 for communicating with the information processing apparatus 200; an operation information notification section 117 for notifying the information processing apparatus 200 of operation information indicating contents of the operation via the communication section 114; and a control section 116 for determining whether the operation is invalid or valid based on a response of the information processing apparatus 200 to the operation information and invalidating or validating the operation on the basis of a determined result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
