Material exchange column

摘要

Exchange column has a lower inlet port for the lighter density liquid to flow in counter current with a downward flowing dense liquid across a series of vertically pulsating perforated plates housed in a cylindrical column. The plates are radially displaced and carry protruding lips at their perforations imposing a circular motion on the liquids encouraging intimate mixing and contact with optinum exchange characteristics. The light liquid is exhaust via an upper outlet and the dense liquid through a lower outlet duct.
