<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bend processing device capable of heating a portion to be bent of a pipe as evenly as possible. <P>SOLUTION: A bend processing device bends a pipe 1 by heating and softening one longitudinal part of the pipe 1. The bend processing device has a first holding part 2 holding one longitudinal end of the pipe 1, a second holding part 3 holding the other longitudinal end of the pipe 1, a heating element 4 arranged between the first holding part 2 and the second holding part 3, and a drive mechanism rotating at least one of the first holding part 2 and the second holding part 3. The heating element 4 comprises a heater wire 6 bent into an approximate C-shape having an opening 5 wider than an outside diameter of the pipe 1, and one part of the heater wire 6 forms opposed folding parts 7 bent inward of the opening 5 on both sides of the opening 5 in a width direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
