<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding type constant velocity universal joint in which the size of a spring receiving member can be kept as small as possible and the spring receiving member is prevented from being brought into contact with or hooked on a roller assembly even if an operation angle is enlarged to a large angle. <P>SOLUTION: The sliding type constant velocity universal joint stores a coil spring 14 for biasing an intermediate shaft 13 inside. The joint is configured in such a manner that the center point C of a convex spherical surface 31 of the intermediate shaft 13 is set at the intersection of center lines of the intermediate shaft 13 and a trunnion shaft 24, and the spring receiving member 15 and the convex spherical surface 31 are brought into point contact with each other in the vicinity of the center at the bottom of the spring receiving member 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
