<p>The data carrier (1) comprises a contact interface (5) set up for data communication with a terminal (2), a contactless interface (4) adapted for data communication with an external near field communication (NFC) unit (3), and a detecting unit (6) adapted for detecting an NFC signal of the external NFC unit. The contact interface is connected to a data line which is connected to the terminal for supplying a data signal as busy signal according to SDspecification version 3, which indicates whether the NFC signal has been detected. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method of indicating presence of external NFC unit by data carrier; and (2) method for supplying power to portable data carrier inserted into terminal.</p> |
