<p>A plug 1 for use in occluding a fallopian tube hysterescopically, said plug comprising an elongate body 2 having an external thread 3, characterised in that said body is fenestrated with apertures 6,17; 7,18; 8,19. The thread 3 may be non fenestrated. The fenestration 6,17; 7,18; 8,19 allows tissue growth into the fenestrations in the body. Non fenestration of the thread 3 avoids weakening of the threads.</p> |
