LIGHT GUIDING PLATE AND BACK LIGHT UNIT USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A light guide plate and a backlight unit using the same are provided to prevent the damage of light emitting body material due to heat discharged in a light emitting diode device while transferring light of desire color to a liquid crystal panel. CONSTITUTION: A light guide plate(200) comprises a plate(210) and a color changing layer(220). The plate comprises a light incidence surface in which light discharged in a light source is entered. The color changing layer is formed in the light incidence surface of the plate. The color changing layer comprises a light emitting body material for changing wavelength of the light. A color selection filter is additionally formed on the color changing layer. The color selection filter transmits light of wavelength under 500nm and reflects light of wavelength over 500nm. An anti-reflection layer is additionally formed on the color selection filter.
