PURPOSE: A flat panel display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the adhesive strength of a wiring part and a sealing member by arranging a first protective layer between the wiring part and the sealing member. CONSTITUTION: A display part(110) is located on a substrate(101). A sealing member is arranged between the substrate and a sealing substrate in order to surround the display part. A wiring part(150) is arranged between the substrate and the sealing substrate in order to be overlapped with the sealing member. A first protective layer is arranged between the sealing member and the wiring part. A lead-in part(180) is arranged at the end part of the wiring part. The lead-in part is connected to the wiring part in order to apply voltage to the wiring part and is electrically connected to an external power source.
