A COPPER ALLOY FOR DIE-CASTING

摘要

PURPOSE: A copper alloy for diecasting is provided to ensure improved mechanical strength, a high melt mobility, and a low melting point. CONSTITUTION: A copper alloy for diecasting is manufactured by adding manganese, chrome, and zinc to high-strength brass(CAC304) and casting it. The high-strength brass comprises 3.0-7.5 weight% of aluminum, 60.0-68.0 weight% of copper, 2.0-4.0 weight% of iron, 0-0.2 weight% or lead, 2.5-5.0 weight% of manganese, 0.2 weight% of tin, and 25.0 weight% of zinc.
