PURPOSE: A method for reproducing oxidoreductase cofactor using a visible light absorption optical catalyst is provided to enable massive and automatic production. CONSTITUTION: A method for reproducing oxidoreductase cofactor comprises: a step of mixing an oxidative oxidoreductase coenzyme, methyl viologen, a ruthenium II composite or rhodium III complex and a visible light absorption optical catalyst; and a step of irradiating with light to prepare a reducible oxidoreductase cofactor. The oxidative oxidoreductase coenzyme is NAD+, NADP+, FAD+ or FMN+.
