PURPOSE: A system performing the image registration and a method thereof are provided, which transform the first image into the second image, and then performs the image registration between the transformed image and the second image, thereby the image registration is performed more accurately between images of different properties. CONSTITUTION: A processor(130) is connected to the first image providing unit(110) and the second image providing part(120). The processor is used for outputting the pixels of the second image by inputting that of the first image. The processor detects the image converting parameter for changing the first image into the second image. The processor forms the converted image by the image transformation parameter. The processor performs the image registration between the transformed image and the second image.
