The invention relates to 1,3,4-oxadiazole compounds containing monosubstituted thiourea, in particular to their derivatives manifesting antituberculous properties.The compounds, according to the invention, correspond to general formula:where:R = benzyl (1a);R = 2,4-dichlorphenacyl (1b);R = allyl (1c);R = pyridin-4-ylmethyl (1d).The synthesis includes the following stages: hydrazinolysis of ethyl-p-aminobenzoate, cyclization-isothiocyanation-thiolation of the obtained hydrazide with tetramethylthiuram disulphide in DMF, thioalkylation and finally ammonolysis of the isothiocyanate group with ammonia aqueous solution.The compounds manifest Mycobacterium tuberculosis culture growth inhibition properties.
