Disclosed is a composition comprising an oligosaccharide derivative represented by general formula (I) and a fungicide selected from benalaxyl, benalaxyl-M, furalaxyl, metalaxyl, metalaxyl-M, ofurace, oxadixyl, azoxystrobin, dimoxystrobin, fluoxastrobin, metominostrobin, orysastrobin, picoxystrobin, pyraclostrobin, trifloxystrobin, azaconazole, bromuconazole, cyproconazole, diclobutrazole, difenoconazole, diniconazole, diniconazole-M, epoxiconazole, etaconazole, fenbuconazole, fluquinconazole, flusilazole, furconazole, furconazole-cis, hexaconazole, imibenconazole, ipconazole, metconazole, myclobutanil, oxpoconazole, paclobutrazol, penconazole, propiconazole, prothioconazole, simeconazole, tebuconazole, tetraconazole, triadimefon, triadimenol, triflumizole triticonazole, uniconazole, viniconazole, 5 voriconazole and N-[2-(1,3-dimethylbutyl)phenyl]-5-fluoro-1,3-dimethyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxamide. A method for controlling phytopathogenic fungi of crops and increasing the yield of crops is also disclosed. The method involves applying the above composition via seed treatment, foliar application, stem application or drench/drip application (chemigation) to the seed, the plant and/or to the fruit of the plant or to soil and/or to inert substrate, Pumice, Pyroclastic materials/tuff, synthetic organic substrates, organic substrates and/or to a liquid substrate in which the plant is growing or in which it is desired to grow.
