An assembly of a gas cylinder (1) fitted with a pneumatic gas cylinder valve (2) and a yoke (8). The gas cylinder valve (2) comprises a pilot gas chamber connectable to a source of pressurised pilot gas and a displaceable member able to act in concert with a valve member. The valve member opens and closes a gas passage placing the interior of the cylinder (1) in fluid communication with a cylinder gas port in the gas cylinder valve (2). The displaceable member is normally biased into a valve closing position but is able to be displaced by the pilot gas pressure from the valve closing position to a position in which the gas cylinder valve (2) is open. The yoke (8), when fitted to the valve (2), is able to connect the pilot gas chamber to a source of pressurised pilot gas and the cylinder gas port to an external cylinder gas passage.
