The disclosure relates to dihydro-imidazol derivatives of formula (I), wherein the variables are as defined in the specification; pharmaceutically acceptable compositions comprising these compounds and methods of using the compositions in the treatment of various disorders in non-human animals; and processes for preparing these compounds. These compounds are useful as inhibitors of protein kinases and are suitable for treating a proliferative disorder (such as melanoma, myeloma, leukemia, lymphoma, neuroblastoma, or a cancer selected from colon, breast, gastric, ovarian, cervical, lung, central nervous system (CNS), renal, prostate, bladder, or pancreatic), a neurodegenerative disorder, an autoimmune disorder, an inflammatory disorder, or an immunologically mediated disorder in a non-human animal.
