Disclosed is a method of styling mammalian hair, the method comprising: contacting the hair with a styling-effective amount of a composition comprising a poly(vinylamine-vinylformamide) copolymer and a first carrier; contacting the hair with a styling-effective amount of a composition comprising a citrate and a second carrier; and styling the hair. Also disclosed is a method for controlling hair frizz in a mammal.
