Disclosed is a refrigerator in which a cool air generation chamber and a machine room are disposed in the upper portion of a main body of the refrigerator, and an open air ratio of a cover grill (300) disposed in front of the cool air generation chamber and the machine room is changed, thereby achieving stable heat radiation of the machine room and efficient operation of the refrigerator.
