<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing toner capable of obtaining excellent drive stability of a kneader in a kneading step and excellent grindability in a pulverization step as well as excellent material dispersibility for a molten resin obtained in the kneading step, and toner manufactured by the method of manufacturing toner. <P>SOLUTION: A continuous kneader 100 used in a kneading step of a method of manufacturing toner is configured so that a shearing force is applied in an area in which the inner wall of a fixed part 110 and the surface of a rotating disk member 14 face each other while conveying a toner material in the fixed part 110 in the axial direction by rotating a drive shaft member 125 with the rotating disk member 14 and a screw member 15 fixed thereto. When a cooling medium having a lower temperature than that of an object to be kneaded is passed through a cooling medium channel of the screw member 15 and the rotating disk member 14, and the amount added of the object to be kneaded is defines as F[g/s] and the peripheral velocity of the outermost periphery of the rotating disk member 14 is defined as V[m/s], the kneading is performed so as to meet the relation of 0.03≤V/F<0.08. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
