PURPOSE: A backlight unit is provided to increase the brightness of a backlight unit by 37% without a diffusion sheet. CONSTITUTION: A light guide plate(130) guides light incident from a light source. The light guide plate irradiates the guided light upward. The light guide plate comprises an upper pattern and a lower pattern. The lower pattern reflects or refracts light. A prism sheet(102) is located on the frontal side of the light guide plate. |
