<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable augmented reality display even when an image to be a basis for augmented reality display does not include the whole marker. <P>SOLUTION: An augmented reality display system includes: vicinity-of-object-and-feature-point CG image state calculation means 504 for, when a previously registered marker is detected, calculating data indicating a state of a CG image in the vicinity of each object or each feature point detected from an input image; marker information storage means 505 for, with each object and each feature point whose data is calculated being a new marker, storing identification information for identifying the object or the feature point and the calculated data by associating the information with the data; matching means 506 for determining whether the input image includes the object or the feature point stored as the new marker; and second CG image generation means 507 for generating a CG image on the basis of the information on the new marker stored in the marker information storage means 505. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
