The invention relates to a fire-resistant laminate which is characterized by the low calorific value thereof of = 3 MJ/kg according to ISO 1716 and, as a result of the specific multi-layer construction thereof, has excellent mechanical properties and an extraordinarily good stability under changing climatic conditions (hot/damp/cold/dry). The laminate according to the invention comprises a plurality of mineral fleeces or glass fibre mats having different functionalities and constituents. These include highly filled fleeces, B-stage binders and other additives. The considerable mechanical strength and the extraordinarily good stability under changing climatic conditions (hot, damp, cold, dry) of the laminate enable same to be used effectively in many areas where previously exclusively laminates according to EN438 were used, and beyond.
