<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic image forming apparatus which improves work efficiency when replacing developing cartridges. <P>SOLUTION: When a developing cartridge 50 is advanced into a drawer member 51 so that the developing cartridge 50 can be supported in the drawer member 51 in such a state that the drawer member 51 is located in an outside position, a force receiving portion 52a comes in contact with inclined surfaces 51b and 51c. In linkage with the advancement of the developing cartridge 50 into the drawer member 51, the force receiving portion 52a brought into contact with the inclined surfaces 51b and 51c receives the force from the inclined surfaces 51b and 51c, thereby a developing roller shutter 52 is moved from a protection position to a retreat position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
