A method for transmitting neighboring cell information of multi-site cell, Base Station (BS), BS control node and communication system thereof are provided in the present invention, and related to wireless communication field. The method includes: a BS acquiring a first configuration information, and the first configuration information includes a neighboring cell information that allows appointed position group in a multi-site cell and transmits the appointed position group over a broadcast channel, and the contents included in the neighboring cell information that transmits the appointed position group over a broadcast channel, and the multi-site cell comprises multiple position groups, and the appointed position group is a part of the multiple position groups; the BS transmitting the neighboring cell information to a idle terminal in the appointed position group to perform neighboring cell measure over a broadcast channel according to the first configuration information. The BS includes an acquirement module and a transmission module. The BS control node includes an acquirement module and a decision module. The system includes a BS and a BS control node. The present invention meets the mobility management needs of a terminal in a special position group and enhances the user experience in the multi-site cell scene. |
