The invention relates to a structure (1) for an openable body section of a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, including: a panel (2) for forming an openable body section shell; a reinforcing plate (3) engaging with an inner wall of the panel (2), wherein the plate (3) and the panel (2) form a reinforced area having holes passing through the plate and the panel; and a means (8) for positioning and attaching a lock plate onto the reinforced area (4). The positioning and attaching means (8) includes attachment rods (81), each of which passes through one of the cylindrical holes.
