PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake cable connecting device requiring no change of the shape of a brake lever itself regardless of the form of the cable end being inserted, easy to be processed into the optimum shape, and capable of being embodied in a lightweight and low-cost construction as a whole. SOLUTION: A guide membere 42 equipped consilidatedly with a first 56 and a second guide 58 to guide a cable end 40 inserted from an insert guide 46 so that it is engaged with a J-form engagement part 38 provided at the tip of a brake lever 34 is formed from one spring leaf separately from the brake lever 34 and is arranged to be installed by one-touch motion to the engagement part 38 with the aid of fitting pawls 60, 62, 64, a pinching claw 66, and an engaging pawl 70. |
