PURPOSE: A touch screen for forming a transparent electrode and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to protect a transparent electrode from heat generated in formation of an interconnection electrode after forming a transparent electrode. CONSTITUTION: A transparent electrode(120) includes a sensing unit(121) for sensing contact input and an extending unit(122) for extending the sensing unit. An interconnection electrode(130) is formed in the outside of the transparent substrate. A conductive paste(140) is formed in the outside of the transparent substrate. The sensing unit senses variation of conductive capacity.
