<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distribute force which acts at a boundary part between an extension part and a pedestal part or a reinforcement member to prevent breaking of a needle tip part of a probe. <P>SOLUTION: This probe for an energization test includes: a needle body part with the pedestal part; and the needle tip part which extends from the pedestal part. The pedestal part includes a recess which at least opens downward and is regulated by a depth surface area opposite to its open surface and a side area which is continued to each end of the depth surface area and reaches the open end of the recess from the depth surface area. The needle tip part includes: a coupling part which is embedded or engaged to be coupled to the pedestal part; and the extension part which extends downward from the recess.
