PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a discharge volume per one drop has been difficult to be kept constant with every gradation although the discharge volume per one drop in each gradation is desirable to be made uniform and be compensated with one primary function expression when actuating an inkjet head with many gradations.
SOLUTION: A controller of inkjet head has a driving voltage decision section 12 for getting the driving voltage per drop in each gradation corresponding to the number of drops based on the driving voltage per drop with which a discharge volume of ink per drop in a reference gradation serves as a target value. Namely, the driving voltage in the reference gradation is defined as Vo, and a voltage correction factor in other gradations is defined as y. The correction factor y is calculated by the formula; y=a1×x+b1 within the region up to the first gradation region beforehand established near the reference gradation while being calculated by the formula; y=a2×x+b2 in the second gradation region separated from the first gradation region, and the driving voltage in each gradation is calculated by the formula; Vo×y (wherein, x is defined as the number of drops, a1, a2, b1 and b2 are set to be constant, absolute values of a1 and a2 are defined as a1<a2).
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
