Provided is a method of controlling a power conversion apparatus, and the power conversion apparatus, wherein increase in electromagnetic noise, which is due to a plurality of power semiconductor switching elements constituting the power conversion apparatus changing the states thereof simultaneously, can be alleviated. In this method, changes in the states of ON/OFF pulses inputted into the power semiconductor switching elements are detected, and when the timing of changes in the states of either two of the ON/OFF pulses match, either one of the ON/OFF pulses that matched is made to delay the change-in-state thereof. |
