<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet irradiation device which prevents the dew condensation on the outer face of both ends of an ultraviolet irradiation water tank or the inner face of a protective tube. <P>SOLUTION: The ultraviolet irradiation device for sterilizing, disinfecting or deactivating water of water supply and sewerage includes: the cylindrical ultraviolet irradiation water tank 11 having a water supply port of treated water and a water drain port; an ultraviolet lamp 15 disposed in the ultraviolet irradiation water tank for irradiating a treating water with ultraviolet rays; the protective tube 16 disposed in the ultraviolet irradiation water tank for protecting the ultraviolet lamp; and a dew condensation prevention mechanism for keeping in a state of the humidity of the gas contacting with the outer face of both ends of the ultraviolet irradiation water tank or the inner face of the protective tube being lowered not to form dew condensation of the gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
