<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resin cap with a thinned top wall while suppressing bleeding in print on an exterior surface of the thinned top wall and also suppressing read error from occurring when optically read-checking information printed on the exterior surface of the thinned top wall. <P>SOLUTION: In the synthetic resin cap 1 having the top wall 2 for covering a container mouth, an exterior rough surface part 2d where fine irregularities are formed is prepared on the exterior surface 2a of the top wall 2 and also an interior rough surface part 2e where fine irregularities are formed is prepared on the interior surface 2b of the top wall 2.
