<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable connector capable of securely attaching a flexible cable to the connector without increasing in cost, with a high working efficiency, and without relying on visual observation. <P>SOLUTION: A cable connector comprises: a cable fixing base which is provided with a flat portion having a conductive plate brought into contact with a terminal surface of an inserted cable formed therein and a step portion on which a tip end of the cable is abutted, and which can be moved by the step portion being pushed by the tip end of the cable when the cable is inserted; and a cable fixture for pressing the cable against the cable fixing base. The cable connector further comprises: a fitting mechanism for being fitted to a fitting portion provided in the cable fixing base at a predetermined position at which the insertion of the cable is completed; and a lock mechanism in which the cable fixture presses a portion under which the terminal surface of the cable is in contact with the conductive plate as the cable fixing base moves in an insertion direction of the cable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
