PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder composition for a lithium secondary battery, capable of achieving stability of an electrode and excellent life characteristics of a battery, and a lithium secondary battery electrode and a lithium secondary battery including the binder composition.

SOLUTION: There are provided: a binder composition for a lithium secondary battery, including a cross-linked compound of polyacrylic acid substituted with an alkali cation and polyvinyl alcohol; and a lithium secondary battery electrode and a lithium secondary battery including the binder composition.
