<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide automatic calibration for printing by means of coordination of image processing apparatuses connected on a network. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing system having a plurality of image processing apparatuses connected by a network comprises: image printing means provided in a first image processing apparatus for printing to output printed matter on the basis of print target image information; image reading means provided in a second image processing apparatus for reading an image of the printed matter to generate read image information; calibration information generating means for generating calibration information which indicates whether or not calibration is needed for printing by the first image processing apparatus and also indicates calibration details if the calibration is needed, on the basis of read image feature information indicating features in the read image information and/or print image feature information indicating features in the print target image information; and calibrating means provided in the first image processing apparatus for performing calibration for printing according to the calibration information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
