<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide translation technique which can acquire an accurate translation sentence and expand an area of expression. <P>SOLUTION: A translation device comprises: example sentence storage means storing a first example sentence written in a first language and a second example sentence which is a description of the first example sentence in a second language; control means acquiring the first example sentence selected by a user from multiple candidate example sentences and a character string inputted by the user as a character string to be embedded in a prescribed configuration part in the first example sentence; and translation means translating the character string to a character string of the second language, reading the second example sentence corresponding to the first example sentence from the example sentence storage means, generating a translation sentence by embedding the character string of the second language into a configuration part in the second example sentence corresponding to the prescribed configuration part and outputting the translation sentence. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
