CAMERA AND MOBILE PHONE APPARATUS WITH CAMERA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone apparatus capable of carrying out a focusing operation and an imaging operation without interrupting miniaturization of a mobile phone.

SOLUTION: A contact detection sensor is provided on a top face of a key. A mobile phone apparatus includes control means for controlling to carry out a focusing operation (step S2) when determining that a user touches the contact detection sensor (step S1), and controlling to carry out an imaging operation (step S5) when determining that the key is depressed subsequently to the touch by the user (step S4).
