摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser frequency change evaluation device which is inexpensively constituted and rapidly performs evaluation measurement. <P>SOLUTION: The wavelength of a laser beam Pr emitted from a wavelength variable laser beam source 22 is changed in a state where the laser beam is made incident to a Fabry-perot etalon optical filter 25, so as to obtain and store a selection characteristic which expresses the change of an optical frequency-to-transmittance of the optical filter 25. Besides, transmittance when a measured laser beam Pin is made incident to the optical filter 25 is obtained. Then, the resonance frequency of the optical filter 25 is adjusted so as to allow the region of the change of the transmittance with the frequency change of the measured laser beam to be a monotonous change region between the maximum transmittance and minimum transmittance of the wavelength selection characteristic of the optical filter 25. Subsequently, the change of the transmittance of the optical filter 25 with respect to the measured laser beam is obtained, so as to calculate the frequency change characteristic of the measured laser beam, based on the change of the transmittance and the wavelength selection characteristic. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
